Grave of Accused Murderer, Dane County, Wisconsin
Kohlmann Cemetery, Est. 1848. Also known as Methodist/Yankee/Kohlmann Buckel Cemetery, it was created as the first town cemetery in the Town of Springfield when Charles Kohlmann was murdered not far from this spot. Jacob Gross was accused of the murder, but was later acquitted.
