Covered Bridges in Spring
Ponn Humpback Covered Bridge and Pony Truss Bridge, Vinton County, Ohio
The Ponn Humpback Covered Bridge was built in 1874. It was called a humpback bridge because it was arched in the middle, rather than being flat like a typical covered bridge. It was on the National Register of Historic Places, but was destroyed by an arsonist in 2013. The Pony Truss Bridge was built in 2008.
