Miller's Houses
Frederick Graue House, DuPage County, Illinois
The house was built for the Graue family between 1858 and 1859 and is a fine example of early Victorian “Italianate” architecture, which was prevalent in American home construction between 1850 and 1890. It was the family home until 1945, when the house was sold and subsequently remodeled into a “modern” post World War II residence.
