Blacksmith Shops
Spangler/Metz Blacksmith Shop, Richland County, Wisconsin
This blacksmith shop was built in the early 1920s and was operated by Monroe Hendricks until he died in 1926. His son, Merwin continued the business until 1938 when it was sold to S.H. ‘Herb’ Spangler. Spangler did general blacksmith work such as shoeing horses, rebuilding wagons, making wagon hubs and sharpening plow shares and sickles. The post office operated out of this blacksmith shop for six months in 1948. Over the years, there were several owners operating businesses out of the building. In 1975, it was sold to and remains in the Metz family.

on January 10, 2013Niezwykłe miejsca, a do tego pełne uroku.
