Ticket Booth at The Surf Ballroom, Clear Lake, Iowa

The Surf Ballroom is a Historic Rock and Roll Landmark. Rock 'n Roll Legends Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.D. "Big Bopper" Richardson, played their last concert at the Surf Ballroom on February 2, 1959. Early the following morning, they died in a plane crash.
